Quad City Tennis Foundation
Free tennis and pickleball lessons for Quad Cities kids ages 7 to 17. Coaching, equipment and court time are all covered.
Who We Are
The Quad City Tennis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Quad City Tennis Club in Moline. We exist so cost never decides which kids get to play.
Licensed club instructors teach every class. Lessons, loaner gear and court time are free, so families can say yes without worrying about the bill.
Why It Matters
Both are sports kids can play for life. They also teach lessons that last well beyond the baseline.
Who We Serve
Kids ages 7 to 17 across the Quad Cities. Our focus is underserved and at-risk youth who might otherwise go without lessons, equipment or court time.
Elementary through high school. Coaching is matched to each player's level.
Beginners are welcome. Players move up through four Grip levels as they improve.
No fees for lessons, loaner gear or court time. Shoes and a t-shirt are available to kids who need them.
Programs
Every program is free and taught by licensed Quad City Tennis Club instructors.
Weekly coached sessions
Kids head to the courts once the school day ends. Classes run about 1.5 hours a week for 8 weeks.
Our coaches visit local schools
Students try tennis and pickleball during the school day. It is an easy, low-pressure first step onto the court.
Red, Orange, Blue and Black Grip
Players earn each Grip level as their skills grow. Every level adds life skills like goal setting and self-management.
When school is out
Camps and clinics keep kids active and improving through the summer break. Players at every Grip level are welcome.
Free and open to families
Free events let kids and parents try both sports together. They are a relaxed way to meet our coaches.
Where Your Support Goes
Donations cover the three things a young player needs most.
